Not gunna rate this because to each his own. But gunna chew you out the bad parts a bit to help you grow.

It's definantly a good try. I can hear the varieties of what you have put in there, but the blend is not very good. If you want to make more of a "step" style then you should have cut-off areas where you only hear a certain drop sound or chord. Try to equalize your kicks and hats also so they can be heard more clearly. (It's not hard to hear now, im talking about small adjustments)

The repetativeness I won't chew you out on because most songs now a days thrive off it so no worries on what pattern you have. Just try to mess with the sounds a bit and give it more life.

Honest opinion (not based off any expertise in "step"music) this song deserves the rating it has. But that doesnt mean its bad. You obviously have people in this comment area that would not agree with me. This song is floating in a grey area between step and chip. So it should give you lots of room to make it grow.

I like the sounds you got going. But 3 minutes is a bit long. You should try to cut it quicker to the change you have around the 2:10 mark. I think it would be a lot better then. But good work! Keep it up. :)

Thanks for the insight! A lot of these are rough, especially this one. I agree it needs more of a structure, and less of an improv feel. I might redo these in the next month or so, and I'll definitely keep that in mind. Thanks for the review!

Not Trance broskee, this would be Dance. The ending around 2:00 is the only real trancy sounding part. BUT, I like the bass you got flowing in here. Nice rhythm as well. Sounds like something out of TRON haha. At the break around 30 seconds you should add a light piano or bell melody and fade it down while the lower bells fade in (that you already have). Again, EQ balances. It felt like my ears are trying to rip the sound out of the song, don't be afraid to give it some power. There is a difference between energy and screeching loudness :P

Not bad

But this is techno not trance..... Still pretty beast though. Just needs a few EQ balances in my opinion. Since I can't give it a 4.8/5 Just hit me up if someone bombs this song and I'll bring it back up.

Hmmm..

Good work with everything you have. No hard core complaints about what you have. The break down you have at the end with the bloopy sounds is a bit out of the blue but hey, if its your feel let it roll. I'd just say to soften the piano during your main part of the song because it has a hard brittle sound that takes the soothing away from the song.

Yeah it does kinda over power the soft piano. I'll probably work on the levels and change the "piano" to a softer tone.

Well now...

At the beginning I was like "ugh another scramble sound song." But when the beat kicked in I could really feel a good rhythm out of it. You have smooth interchanges within the song and some interesting and good sound choices. I really like the leads you use in the song and the breakdown after them. Good work but it does sound a bit messy sometimes... rarely though.

Its got a pretty nice vibe to it. Like he said below you can't really get into it but apparently he doesn't understand thats whats kewl about electronica. You don't need to ;P

But yea cool stuff and only 1 problem I had other than the kick fuzz was its not techno, this is a pretty good soft trance you got going. Keep it up. and feel free to check my crappy songs haha ^_^
